Chullora Freight Services
Pacific National's Chullora intermodal rail terminal has anchored inner-west Sydney freight for decades — the surrounding precinct mixes FMCG, trade-supply and light-industrial tenants and functions as the longer-established counterpart to the newer Moorebank SIMTA precinct further south. QFM runs Chullora freight across rail and road options — pallet and carton palletised freight loads direct onto Pacific National's Melbourne-Sydney and Sydney-Brisbane services, with road dispatch via M5 or M7 for metro and shorter-haul lanes.
The precinct's inner-west position gives it a significant same-day Sydney CBD advantage — M5 east reaches the CBD in 20-30 minutes off-peak, putting Chullora closer to metro receivers than any of the outer-west DC precincts like Eastern Creek or Prestons. QFM schedules daily Sydney metro runs, overnight express interstate on urgent lanes, and rail-intermodal for cost-sensitive long-haul freight. Adjacent Bankstown and Greenacre pickups consolidate onto the same carrier lanes.
