The North West Shelf LNG precinct and surrounding mine-services operations drive steady demand for commercial freight — parts, consumables, workshop equipment, construction materials and camp supplies. Inbound loads travel the Great Northern Highway from Perth (three to four days) or fly direct through Karratha Airport for time-critical consignments. Regional on-forwarding to Port Hedland, Newman, Tom Price, Paraburdoo, Roebourne and Exmouth covers the wider Pilbara.
