Curtainsider restraint doesn't suit long, heavy steel sections that need chain and dog tie-down. Flatbed gives full access for side loading, crane offload at the receiver, and appropriate chain restraint. For shorter, lighter product, curtainsider works.

Structural steel (RHS, SHS, UB, UC), coils and sheet plate, aluminium extrusions, bar stock and reinforcing. Fabricator supply between mills, service centres and yards; construction site delivery of erection steel; overlength freight on specialist carriers.

Lengths above 6 m move on extendable trailers or drop-decks; above 20–25 m triggers oversized permitting. Pilot vehicles may be required; some routes are night-only. We confirm feasibility and permit lead-time early in the quote.

Yes — heavily. Mass declarations, axle compliance, and chain and dog restraint are all sender responsibilities under the HVNL. Inaccurate declarations or unstable loads expose the sender to overload penalties and CoR enforcement. See our CoR explainer.

Yes — structural steel supply onto a construction site typically arrives phased against the erection sequence. Foundation steel first, frame next, cladding structural later. Site contact confirmed before each delivery; crane arrangement handled for unload at the receiver.
